Sazèkwaù Se (/sa/ /zɛˈkwaʊ/ [court (of law); tribunal] [silent]) is a subtropical Town located in Valfield Dutchy, Fidhi̊si Provence, within the Dalandic Empire.

The name Sazèkwaù Se is derived from the Tauric language, as Sazèkwaù Se was founded by Zlêreshèj Wiegold, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Sazèkwaù Se has a yearly average temperature of 27°C (80°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 30°C (86°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 24°C (75°F). Sazèkwaù Se receives an average of 156 cm/y (61 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Sazèkwaù Se covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 4644 m (15236 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Sazèkwaù Se was founded durring the early 13th century in fall of the year 1216, by Zlêreshèj Wiegold. The establishment of Sazèkwaù Se was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Sazèkwaù Se's construction back out of the project. Zlêreshèj Wiegold pushed on reguardles, and Sazèkwaù Se was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Sazèkwaù Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Sazèkwaù Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Sazèkwaù Se is buildings are built arround a single spacious flagstone mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Sazèkwaù Se's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. The town's political statment focused walls are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.

Something in your gut tells you that you may be unwelcome in Sazèkwaù Se. The town seems like it’s not showing you the side of itself it would show to others. People mostly ignore your questions. Many folks ask you to leave their establishments, even before you’ve walked inside them.

Civic Infrastructure

Sazèkwaù Se has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Sazèkwaù Se. Sazèkwaù Se has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Sazèkwaù Se's natural decorations nor waterways.

They may have religious sanction for their deeds, or neighbors might trade with them for such things, or they could be followers of some ideology that blesses such pursuits. Sazèkwaù Se's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.
